Working At Heights Safety Talks
In the 1990s I had it all my own Business with my employees, my Crane and truck. Health and safety Culture did not existโbut I always worked in a safe manner at all times. I have completed many large-scale Projects throughout my working life in both Ireland and the U.K. fortunately without an accident.
Then 6033 Days today and counting, I had a life changing accident, I was only checking the next day’s work schedule as I had always done in a safe manner.
But on that Faithful day I was not doing it in a safe manner with no Safety Harnesses on and not addressing the house keeping in the gutter.
So I slipped or tripped it only takes 3 seconds to fall 26 feet and changed my life for both myself and my family forever with no reverse button.
Resulting in being Paralysed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair for life
